Luigi Fedeli e Figlio Srl is looking for a Credit Specialist to join our Administration Team Office.
Reporting directly to the Administrative Director, he/she will play a crucial role in managing credit collection process for ourcustomers.
Main activities and responsibilities
- Analyse and evaluate customer orders unlocking by monitoring customers'' credit exposure to mitigate risks and propose preventive measures
- Manage reminder activity in line with company credit policies
- Manage problems related to payments and/or disputes and negotiate/define repayment plans where necessary
- Collect financial information about new customers and review other customers financial information for the seasonal credit lines renewal
- Account and allocate customers receipts
- Control and reconcile accounting entries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate smooth credit collection
- Prepare periodic reporting (including "Intrastat")
- Credit notes, Down Payment invoices, Accounting entries.
- Management of several types of payment terms
- Account receivables management including cheques, letter of credit, credit cards, wire transfers, "RI.BA.".
- Management of cetificates of origin.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Economics or High School Diploma
- At least 3 years of previous experience in credit collection and receivables accounting
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken (the interview will be both in English and Italian)
- Knowledge of another language will be considered a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office package (Excel)
- Ability to relate and negotiate with customers
Knowledge of English, Excel and several accounting concepts will be specifically tested during interviews.
