Summary:
We are seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Project Manager to plan, oversee, and execute the successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects. This role will be crucial in aligning our infrastructure with organisational goals and optimising operational efficiency. You''ll work closely with the infrastructures team to ensure on-time, within-budget completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables, and tracking progress against these plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential challenges and ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and escalating any issues or deviations from the project plan.
- Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to assess progress, identify lessons learned, and continuously improve project management practices.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and adhere to industry standards and security regulations.
- Provide support in organizing and preparing visual aids for steering committee meetings and SALs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with IT infrastructure systems and technologies.
- 3+ years of demonstrated project management experience in IT infrastructure-related projects.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Strong technical understanding of networks, servers, data storage, security, cloud solutions,etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent english language skills (written and oral).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management certifications (PMP, etc.)
- ITIL or other relevant technical certifications
