Planet Pharma are working with a Global Pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Master Data Manager to play a key role in managing master data governance and ensuring data quality within our supply chain operations.
This position requires strong attention to detail, data governance expertise, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) in a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the role of Master Data Manager, ensuring adherence to master data governance policies.
- Execute tasks within Implementation Reports (IRs) and escalate any deviations.
- Understand and apply product flows and business scenarios for master data implementation.
- Manage daily tasks efficiently, communicating updates to other data stewards.
- Apply general master data rules and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
- Work with packaging material systems, executing operational tasks and mass data updates when required.
- Conduct data quality management, flagging risks, supporting investigations, and contributing to meeting data standards.
- Handle incident management, identifying and escalating issues within master data processes.
- Execute periodical deactivations of outdated data, ensuring process accuracy.
- Provide project support, participating in testing, documentation, and oversight of data-related activities.
- Identify potential process improvements and recommend updates to data governance.
Key Experience & Skills:
- Experience in master data management, preferably in pharma or life sciences.
- Ability to work in complex supply chain environments and manage data flows.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), with hands-on experience in operational data processes.
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and quality management.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify risks and escalate issues proactively.
- Collaboration and communication skills for working across teams.
- Ability to contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement.
