Role Overview

As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in organising, maintaining, and updating company documents to ensure that all records are accurate, secure, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth document management across projects.


Key Responsibilities

Document Management: Create and maintain efficient document control systems, ensuring all company documentation is organised and accessible.

Version Control: Ensure documents are up to date, track revisions, and prevent inconsistencies.

Compliance Audits: Conduct regular company audits to verify document adherence to policies and industry standards.

Employee Training: Train employees on proper document access and management procedures.

Standardisation: Develop and implement procedures to ensure document control consistency across teams.

Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to ensure document accuracy and alignment with project needs.

Policy Adherence: Follow company procedures to maintain regulatory compliance and internal standards.


Qualifications & Experience

2+ years experience in a similar Document Controller role within a related industry.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in documentation.

Data analysis skills to interpret and assess document management effectiveness.

Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.

Ability to follow established procedures precisely.

Exceptional organisational skills for managing multiple documents and workflows.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with teams and stakeholders.


Desirable Skills

Experience working with document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Asite, etc.).

Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance in document control.

A proactive and methodical approach to document management.
