Security Consultant12 month contract (2-3 year scope)Hybrid role Occasional travel to client site (multiple locations possible - 8 days per month)You will join a department that provides impact analysis, security risk assessment, security requirements, design validation for all IT projects within the organisation.This role is hybrid, you will be required to visit the offices 8 days per month (you can manage how you split this). Job DescriptionDefine and advise on the design, implementation, and test processes necessary to protect information system assets.Perform risk assessments and translate the security architecture and high-level policies and controls towards security requirements (secure by design) for business and IT projects.Define security requirements and penetration test scope, actively support the testing teams to perform these tests and approve the test reports.Contribute to the architectural design and validate it against the security requirements.Competences skillsTechnical experience and background neededExcellent knowledge of Risk Methodologies and working experience of performing Risks Assessments.7-8+ years experience in a similar rolewell experienced in Incident Management, vulnerability management, compliance, risk management, cloud securityAny experience with compliance / regulatory frameworks related to security controlsNetwork Security, SOC, Cloud, Linux, DevSecOps, Blockchain experience is an asset but not essential.Fluent in English.
