Nidec Conversion is hiring Proposal Manager forCinisello Balsamo site. The resource will be assigned within thetechnical-commercial department related to Power Quality / Powerelectronics business unit. The candidate will be responsible formanaging the offer preparation, including technical sizing and costevaluation/analysis. Strong commitment in transversal activities,such as interaction with R&D, Electrical Engineering and Salesteams is mandatory. The candidate shall contact suppliers forquotations, technical alignment and offer optimization in order toimprove the quotation package. PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES andACTIVITIES The candidate will: 1. Receive Customers RFQ from thesales department 2. Interpret Customers request and identifyCustomers needs. Analyze of input documentation (Customerspecifications and technical bid) 1. Identify the technicalsolution best fitting the functional and performance requirements(also using various simulation tools for steady state and transientnetwork study) with the lower cost. 2. Estimate the costs ofinternal and external material, equipment, works and services ,constituting the technical solution 3. Keep contacts with suppliersin coordination with supply chain team 4. Estimate the workloadrequired by the project in terms of Application Engineering,R&D and Project Management 5. Prepare detailed documentation tosupport a bid for a project Make remarks and comments to customerproject specification relevant to the proposed solution 1. Workclosely with sales and technical teams to provide a complete andcompetitive technical solution 2. Participate in Customer meetingsfor such as solution presentation, technical clarification, etc.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Education and Qualifications1. University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalenttechnical experience 2. MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 3.SAP, AutoCad, and any Network Analyzing Tool (Neplan) arepreferential title Experience & Knowledge 1. Technicalbackground in Medium voltage Power Conversion (preferably in PowerQuality field) 2. Knowledge in Single line Diagram: interpretation,creation, modification, etc 3. Knowledge in MV equipment: Circuitbreakers, Air core reactors, Transformers, Switchgears,Disconnector switches, etc 4. Experience in power qualitysolutions for industrial (mining,metals,etc..), renewable andutilities is preferred: Statcom and SVC 5. Knowledge in grid codestandards is preferred 6.
