Join the industrys fastest-growing technology company to shape this future today.Junior Firmware Engineer Responsibilities:Design, implement, and optimize firmware for wireless communication systems on JMA hardware/firmware platforms.Collaborate with systems engineering to translate requirements into firmware solutions.Architect and implement firmware focusing on performance and resource efficiency.Develop verification frameworks to ensure firmware reliability and functionality.Work with hardware and FPGA teams to integrate firmware into wireless systems.Create and execute test plans for firmware validation.Develop firmware for wireless protocols like LTE, 5G, ORAN fronthaul.Optimize signal processing pipelines in collaboration with FPGA and DSP teams.Document firmware designs and integration processes thoroughly.Maintain version-controlled documentation for collaboration.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging wireless technologies.Explore new tools and methodologies to improve firmware development.Qualifications:Proven success in firmware development on wireless hardware platforms.Experience deploying and debugging embedded systems with lab instrumentation.Skilled in creating modular, test-oriented, scalable applications.Capable of managing resource-constrained subsystems.Proficient in C++ programming.Experience with Linux kernel, Embedded Linux, U-Boot, kernel development, and File system operations.Familiar with git and agile workflows is a plus.Some knowledge of wireless protocols LTE, 5G, and FPGA implementation.Understanding RF systems and wireless signal processing challenges.Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.Ability to work collaboratively across teams.Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.English language skills are advantageous.At JMA, we embrace diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
