A global organisation undergoing a multi-phase HR transformation and Greenfield Workday implementation is looking for a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to join their growing HRIS team.
This is a fully remote, permanent role (Italy or Spain based). You''ll take the lead in configuring and optimising the Time Tracking & Absence modules, collaborating with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.

About the Role:
This hands-on position will see you actively configuring Workday, shaping business processes, and ensuring a successful rollout of Time Tracking & Absence functionality as part of a wider transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional and configuration lead for Workday Time Tracking & Absence
- Design, configure, and test business processes in partnership with Workday consultants and internal teams
- Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations
- Execute core configuration tasks (eligibility rules, time codes, accruals, etc.)
- Support integration with time clocks, payroll, and third-party tools
- Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing
- Create training documentation and provide user training
- Deliver post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Skills & Experience
- 45+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (Time Tracking & Absence)
- Workday implementation experience (in-house or consulting)
- Strong understanding of HR/time/absence business processes and compliance
- Ability to work independently on complex configurations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
