We are searching for the best talent for the role of Senior Director Operations Business Unit Parenterals based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

Purpose:

The Senior Director Operations Business Unit Parenterals is a key member of the site leadership team and board of directors, responsible for aligning with company and division goals, ensuring GMP, EHS, and SOX compliance, and delivering quality products efficiently. This role involves business planning, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, compliance, safety, risk management, and project execution, with a focus on talent development, strategic alignment, and fostering a strong company culture.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the Business Unit Parenteral Filling to meet global and local objectives, focusing on business and talent development.
  2. Ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of products.
  3. Overseeing NPI and transfer activities for products and technology.
  4. Managing critical investments and capability projects within budget and schedule.
  5. Organizing and leading departments for safe, flawless execution and collaboration.
  6. Maintaining GMP, EHS, and SOX compliance across functions.
  7. Developing and monitoring departmental goals aligned with site and platform objectives.
  8. Managing business planning, budgeting, and cost control.
  9. Supervising new product introductions and process standardization.
  10. Driving organizational and talent development, including attracting diverse talent, succession planning, and fostering an inclusive environment.
  11. Participating as an active member of the Site Leadership team and acting as deputy to the Site GM as needed.
  12. Collaborating with peer departments and representing the BU externally.
