NoOffer DescriptionThe evolution of digital technologies, the accessibility of IoT systems, and the advancements in artificial intelligence are creating new opportunities for automation in Supply Chain Planning (demand, inventory, transportation, production, supply) and execution. The purpose of this research project is to provide a comprehensive overview of the opportunities enabled by these technologies, illustrate the state of adoption across various sectors, and formulate an interpretive framework to help businesses balance the abilities of technology with the complexity of real-world processes, while exploring the evolving role of the human planner, according to the research priorities defined in PNR e PNRR guidelines. The methodologies adopted will include case studies, action research, and conceptual modeling to define both interpretive and normative outcomes, as well as identify research gaps to be addressed in further programs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
