We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support Siemens Mobility in Italy, based in Milan, with a permanent contract.About Siemens Mobility: Siemens Mobility is a standalone company within Siemens, leading in transport innovation across areas such as Rolling Stock, Rail Automation, and Electrification. We enable digitalized mobility solutions worldwide, enhancing infrastructure, passenger experience, and operational availability.Role Overview: As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will contribute to Siemens Mobilitys business objectives and uphold the company''s integrity. Your responsibilities include evaluating contract risks in compliance with Italian Law (Codice degli Appalti), providing legal advice, managing legal proceedings, and drafting or reviewing agreements.Main Activities:Advising business partners on complex legal matters.Identifying legal risks and opportunities, proposing solutions.Managing legal proceedings and claims, developing strategies.Handling claims proactively.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.Reporting on legal risks and proceedings.Ensuring compliance with legal policies.Coordinating with outside counsel.Representing legal expertise internally and externally.Candidate Profile:Law degree and qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials.Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.Deep understanding of Italian Commercial, Civil, and Public Procurement Law.Experience with complex projects, risk assessment, and claims management.Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Italian and good command of English; German/Spanish a plus.Eligibility to work in Italy.Passion for continuous growth and respect for diversity.What We Offer:Flexible, results-driven work environment with hybrid and remote options.Comprehensive welfare programs, health insurance, and on-site amenities.Opportunities for continuous learning and development.An inclusive culture that values authenticity.For more details on our benefits, visit: Benefits e Welfare in Siemens Italia - Siemens ITJoin us and be yourself.
