Wipro is looking for a Business Development Director for Switzerland.

Location:

Zurich / Hybrid

Your mission:

As Business Development Director, you are responsible for client acquisition and the development of ongoing client relationships. Your experience in selling in the IT-Service industry in the Swiss market adds value for our clients and strengthens Wipros position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Focus on the acquisition of new clients across the Swiss market (German speaking part).
  2. Nurture and grow existing relationships.
  3. Conduct market analysis regarding new business and expansion opportunities.
  4. Benchmark against competition, as well as reporting and forecasting.
  5. Plan ramp-up and launch of new projects.
  6. Position Wipro as an IT partner of choice among defined target customers.

Your qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree or higher.
  2. 15+ years of working experience, including at least 5 years as a Sales Executive in the Swiss IT market.
  3. Experience handling larger outsourcing engagements within the IT-Service industry (pre-sales or sales phase).
  4. Proven track record of sales successes.
  5. Project Management experience.
  6. Willingness to travel.
  7. Open, communicative, and team-oriented.
  8. Self-reliant and compelling.
  9. Analytic and conceptual frame of mind.
  10. Goal-oriented and resilient.
  11. Business fluent/native in German and English.
  12. Well networked at the CXO layers of customer organizations in Switzerland.
