About the Role - We are seeking a candidate with strong business development skills and a sales mindset, capable of starting up and running a small operation. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, and leading teams effectively. Their expertise in the Japanese market, combined with their entrepreneurial spirit, will enable them to drive growth and ensure the success of the business venture.
Responsibilities
The Country Manager should steer the office towards maximum profitability while upholding the group''s vision, mission, and long-term goals. The specific responsibilities include the following:
- Budget planning and performance achievement
- Business expansion and performance improvement
- Governance, compliance and risk management following local and regional regulations
- Succession planning, organizational planning, human resources development and recruitment
- Profit & loss management and responsibility to stakeholders
- Developing new business relationships with Japanese and multinational clients
- Consulting hiring managers on the recruitment process and responding quickly to their needs
- Sourcing and matching the best talent available
- Managing and negotiating the offer process between clients and candidates
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or recruitment consulting, demonstrating ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Experience effectively managing the hiring process and attracting qualified candidates
- Familiarity with the Dutch market and business landscape
- Familiarity with local and regional regulations
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese
- Full professional proficiency in either English or Dutch
