W Racing Team is looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Officer to support our Human Resources department with a strong focus on HR administration, payroll processing, and compliance with Belgian labor laws. The ideal candidate has proven experience in handling HR administrative processes, contract management and payroll calculations with precision and discretion.
The duties of the HR Officer will include:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases (contracts, personnel files, etc.).
- Prepare, update, and archive employment contracts, addenda, and other official HR documentation in line with Belgian legislation.
- Handle the full monthly payroll cycle, including salary calculations, benefits, deductions, and liaising with the social secretariat.
- Ensure compliance with Belgian labor law, collective labor agreements (CLAs), and internal policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, leave administration, work regulations, and other employment matters.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security rules and internal procedures, ensuring all HR processes support a safe and compliant working environment.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate and follow up on employee absences, including medical leaves, maternity/paternity, and time-off.
- Support the HR Manager in HR projects and reporting (e.g. audits, workforce planning, legal updates).
The HR Officer should have the following desired skillset:
- Proven experience in a similar HR administrative or payroll-focused role.
- Strong understanding of Belgian labor law and social security regulations.
- Solid experience in salary processing and contract administration.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in French & English
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field is preferred.
