We are looking for a ProjectSurveyor to join our team in Viareggio, Italy. Position Overview Weare seeking a meticulous and experienced Project Surveyor tosupport our New Build and Refit Project Management division.Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Surveyorplays a key role in overseeing the construction and refit ofsuperyachts, with a focus on inspecting and assessing buildquality, compliance, and workmanship throughout all project stages.Key Duties and Responsibilities - Conduct regular on-siteinspections of new build and refit projects to verify constructionquality, materials, and technical compliance. - Review andinterpret technical drawings, specifications, and constructionschedules. - Identify deviations or deficiencies and ensurecorrective actions are taken promptly. - Liaise with shipyardpersonnel, subcontractors, and classification societyrepresentatives on technical and quality matters. - Documentinspections and produce detailed technical reports for the ProjectManager. - Support quality assurance processes and contribute tomaintaining the highest standards of construction. - Monitor andverify progress in line with project milestones and technicalexpectations. - Attend factory acceptance tests, sea trials, andcommissioning activities as required. Skills/Requirements - Solidexperience as a marine surveyor, construction inspector, or qualitycontrol engineer in the superyacht or shipbuilding industry. -Technical degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or arelated discipline preferred. - In-depth understanding of shipyardprocesses, classification requirements, and marine constructionstandards. - Strong technical documentation and reporting skills. -Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability. -Comfortable working on-site and traveling internationally. - Teamplayer with strong communication skills and the ability to workunder the direction of the Project Manager.
