As the Global Process Expert Tax accounting and statutory reporting as a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our A2R GPO department as a Global process expert specialist, focusing on Statutory reporting and Tax accounting processes. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong project management skills to lead initiatives that enhance our financial reporting accuracy and tax efficiency. This role is crucial in driving efficiency and optimization within our Account-to-Report (A2R) Service Line, contributing to the overall financial performance of the organization.

Main responsibilities
- Spearhead and execute complex, cross-functional projects within the A2R Service Line, with a particular emphasis on Statutory reporting and tax accounting processes
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, for statutory reporting and tax accounting initiatives, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies while facilitate high-level meetings with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress, issues, and resolutions
- Reporting to Global Process Lead, serve as the global subject matter expert in Statutory reporting and tax accounting, proactively identifying and implementing process enhancements to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Ability to develop Request for Proposal (RFI/P), Statements of Work (SOW)
- Define and lead the change management components to increase employee adoption and utilization (e.g. stakeholder impact management, communications, trainings etc.)
- Contribute to the standardization and optimization of statutory reporting processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards while collaborating with internal stakeholders (local finance teams, tax department, external auditors) to streamline the statutory reporting and tax compliance processes
- Design and implement robust KPI frameworks to monitor performance, and propose new metrics as needed to drive continuous improvement and develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with global operating procedures for Statutory reporting and tax accounting processes while working closely with Global CI Coordinator and CI Hub Leads in supporting CI projects
About you
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account-to-Report processes, with a strong focus on tax accounting and statutory reporting processes
- Experience working in a shared services environment or global organization
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Account-to-Report processes and demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies
- Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management
Soft skills
- Advanced proficiency in SAP FI, SAP S4, and other A2R-related IT tools
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office suite and Blackline
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Adaptability to changing regulatory environments and business needs
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
Education
- Master''s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Languages
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous
