Aboveall, change banking means taking action. The financial world iscurrently facing many changes and as a Risk Management trainee youplay an important role in tackling them. The findings from theanalysis you perform, mainly on behalf of Retail and WholesaleBanking, will influence our company results and the risks we areprepared to take. Therefore, you need to have a strong sense ofself-belief and stand behind your decisions. Your rotations In your18 months, you set to work on projects related to Credit &Trading Risk, Balance Sheet Risk, Risk Services, Compliance,Operation Risk Management or Regulatory. You are handed a lot ofresponsibility within your role right from day one. You arecompletely free to decide on your second rotation for yourself.Many of our trainees choose to spend one rotation abroad working onan international project, such as in London, Spain, Singapore orNew York. This international adventure is not only great fun but isalso good for your personal and professional development. Afteryour first 18 months, having gained a wealth of experience, you setto work in a more permanent position where youll further enhanceyour knowledge. Your personal preferences and interests form animportant starting point for the roles you fulfill. Together with other (international) trainees you willparticipate in global events, which will enable you to quicklybuild up a large network. As a trainee you receive guidance fromyour line manager and your Early career talent manager (traineemanager). If you are looking for additional guidance you can ask aSenior Manager to mentor you. They will coach you, inspire you,introduce you to their network and share their knowledge andinsights with you. Our Risk trainee Has a masters degree,preferably in Econometrics, Economics, Law or (quantitative)Finance (and degrees in Mathematics, Engineering and Physics willalso be considered). Has an interest in financial services, aninnovative take on banking and an unconditional drive to turn ideasinto reality. Has gained (international) experience through variousextracurricular activities. Is enthusiastic and considers theinterests of our customers and colleagues. Is fluent in English,knowledge of Dutch/French is a big plus and will give you access tomore teams and roles Has a maximum of 2 years of professionalexperience Needless to say we offer you a good base salary for thistraineeship (starters position), paid annual leave, an impressivetraining package and a permanent contract.
