Job Description:
In the role of a Flight System Architect, you will bring proven experience in the ATM (Air Traffic Management) industry, with a solid understanding of SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) principles, paradigms, and best practices. You should have experience in integrating legacy applications and transforming traditional applications into services.
- Design solutions for all flight functions of related system components, including coordination and planning of software integrations both internally and via third-party applications.
- Define, review, and validate the short, mid, and long-term target architectures of Skyguide''s application landscape as a member of the System Architecture Board.
- Design, develop, and validate solution prototypes in various environments to certify the accuracy and viability of designs and implementations.
- Model, maintain, and document all architectural artifacts and promote optimal communication levels.
- Support flight-related product owners and subject matter experts to understand domain needs and design appropriate solutions to fulfill those needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Over 10 years of software engineering experience in a similar role, designing or developing application systems.
- Experience in architectural design roles, preferably as a system architect with over 5 years'' experience in SOA.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral); knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
