Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) 12 Months Contract Belgium (Remote) - Including monthly business travel - 3-Days/week

Are you an experienced CISO ready to take on an exciting challenge with a globally expanding company? If so, this role might be perfect for you!

Amoria Bond is seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer to lead the cybersecurity strategy for a multinational group. Youll be responsible for post-merger integration, aligning regulatory measures (NIS2, ISO27001), and driving cybersecurity initiatives across diverse regions and cultures. This role provides the opportunity to influence and synchronize security efforts across mature and developing divisions while working with cutting-edge technologies.

Role Overview:

• Post-Merger Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate acquired companies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Drive synchronization of measures under NIS2 and ISO27001.
• Leadership: Provide strategic advice and solutions to align IT infrastructures across multiple geographies.
• Cultural Understanding: Navigate and collaborate effectively within a French-based organization with global operations .
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with authorities, in-house IT teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
• Travel: Monthly trips to countries within central Europe

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in cybersecurity leadership roles, especially post-merger integration and regulatory compliance.
• Languages: Fluency in French and English (Dutch is a plus).
• Skills: Strong fact-based communication, M&A expertise, and familiarity with tools like CrowdStrike and KnowBe4.
• Location: Preference for candidates near Leuven, Belgium, with flexibility for remote work.
