Introduction

At Trinamics, we are looking for a talented and driven Specialist Vehicle Control to support the development of innovative vehicle control systems. In this role, you will play a leading part in defining, designing, and verifying advanced control functions, especially in the areas of ADAS and HMI , for next-generation vehicle platforms.

You will join a multidisciplinary development team and contribute to projects from concept through implementation, ensuring robust and effective control strategies that meet both customer and system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into well-defined and effective control concepts
• Take ownership of project coordination, progress tracking, and communication with stakeholders
• Design and validate control systems using simulation environments, HIL, or RCP setups
• Document function design requirements clearly and consistently for smooth implementation
• Support the development and integration of control functions into production-ready systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering domains including system architects, control system owners, test engineers, and suppliers

Your Profile

• BSc., MSc., or PhD in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the automotive sector
• Solid understanding of control engineering principles and system dynamics
• Proficient in Matlab, Simulink, and related toolboxes
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Preferred: Experience with Functional Safety standards (ISO26262)
• Preferred: Familiarity with IBM DOORS Next Gen (DNG) and dSpace tools

About the Department

You will be part of the Vehicle Definition team , regarded as the functional architect of the vehicle. This team is responsible for translating customer expectations into technical requirements and defining control concepts early in the product development cycle. You will work in an international, expert environment focused on innovation and excellence.
