Scope and Range
To achieve budgeted revenues in Events Rooms, Conference and Banqueting in keeping with the annual budget and marketing plan
To effectively administrate and manager all group bedrooms and event bookings as per bookings procedures
To understand and maintain costing of all relevant functions.
To ensure effective communication with clients and other hotel departments to enable the smooth operation of in-house functions with a team spirit

Daily Duties
To actively seeking opportunities on local market and prospect the customers
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them
To handle and co-ordinate all confirmed meetings, events, gala dinners, special events (weddings, family reunions, non-residential events etc.).
To achieve budgeted revenues in Sales, Conference and Banqueting in keeping with the annual budget and marketing plan
To coordinate all functions bookings, as per bookings procedures, SOPs.
To handle and co-ordinate all enquiries for events in the hotels function rooms, food, and beverage areas
To attend and hold pre-service briefings for daily events
To ensure that all enquiries are responded on the same day for Italian enquiries and within 24 hours for international enquiries and to co-ordinate the sending out of all function proposals
To handle work allocations in an efficient manner, ensuring that standards and guest expectations are maintained
To ensure that all group bookings have valid option dates and that the proposals are actively chased prior to or on the option date, as directed
To ensure that the required lay-out of all function rooms are maintained throughout events in accordance with hotel standards
To efficiently manage Opera PMS to ensure that all information is complete, accurate and updated
To send out event proposals, contracts, confirm billing arrangements and deposit requirements as per terms and conditions
To issue Business Event Orders by appropriate day of the week prior to event, as directed and to attend and lead BEO weekly meetings
Promptly issue any late additions and amendments, as directed
To have a working knowledge of all hotel facilities and prices and hotels primary competition
To ensure accurate billing
To attend meetings internal or with clients, as assigned by superior manager.
Closely cooperate with Director of Sales and Revenue Department on promotions, selling our facilities and promoting the hotel
Handle group requests
