About the role
The role is a generalist Network architect & infrastructure architect. The scope is redefining the network.
You will work along with the client''s internal Network Architect.
- Complete network landscape - Cloud (Azure primary, some AWS) and on-premise (with external supplier)
- Define the requirements for Cloud and also on-premise (external supplier)
- Discuss with external supplier (and other parties/vendors)
- Determine the network technologies needed
Who you are
You have minimum 5 years experience as Network Architect and a proven track record of at least 10 years in IT within large organizations :
- You can work largely independently and drive forward the redesign (and implementation) of the hybrid client''s network (Cloud and on-premise)
- You have experience in micro segmentation
- Excellent interpersonal (soft) skills
- Experience in Zscaler a +
- Up to date on all the zero-trust aspects of networking (ideally with a been there, done that experience of some of the products to be able to quickly demonstrate value)
- Ability to work in a less mature organization
- Fluent in French &/or Dutch, + English
- Location: there are 2 sites located in Brussels (north & west Brussels), typically 2 days a week onsite (as needed for specific meetings ..)
