As Senior Lead 3PL Operations EMEA, youll oversee and optimize warehouse operations across Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the U.K. Leading a team of four, youll drive operational excellence, OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) performance, and team development while staying close to day-to-day execution.
Youll tackle logistical challenges, support regional initiatives, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will support the Luxembourg and Belgium Warehouse Coordinator during the transition to a fully automated warehouse (set to open between 2026 and 2027), ensuring a smooth handover from the global to the regional team while maintaining operational continuity. Youll also align closely with global logistics to adapt and refine EMEA warehouse solutions.
You will report to the Head of Logistics EMEA.
Your mission
- Oversee 3PL warehouse operations across Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the U.K., ensuring high performance and alignment with Ons operational targets
- Lead and develop a team of four logistics professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and enabling their growth
- Foster strong partnerships with 3PL providers and optimize operations with a sharp focus on OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) to improve fulfillment across multiple channels, elevate customer satisfaction, and enhance brand loyalty
- Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met by tracking key metrics, driving data-driven decision-making, and ensuring transparency across teams to identify and implement continuous improvements
- Support the implementation of Ons new automated warehouse in Belgium by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Work closely with the Global Distribution team to ensure a frictionless transition, operational efficiency, team readiness, and uninterrupted order fulfillment
- Spearhead key regional strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, including warehouse scalability and process standardization
- Support daily operations, working closely with Senior Warehouse Coordinators and the Senior Inbound Specialist to address challenges and streamline processes
- Optimize distribution costs and safeguard profitability by analyzing workflows, improving efficiency, and maximizing resource utilization
- Act as the primary escalation point for recurring 3PL warehouse performance issues. Assess network productivity and quality to identify risks and develop proactive mitigation plans
Your story
- Extensive experience in warehouse operations, including direct on-site work with 3PL providers (Typically 8+ years, but relevant expertise matters more than years alone). Strong understanding of warehouse flows, with the ability to quickly identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities.
- Proven leadership in dynamic environments, with a track record of developing talent and driving cross-functional teams toward operational excellence.
- Strong commercial acumen, including procurement, contract negotiation, and participation in global and regional commercial discussions
- Relationship and cost management expertise, with the ability to balance business needs, legal considerations, and procurement strategies, while stepping back to take a strategic view.
- Lean management expertise, with experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kanban, optimizing warehouse and logistics operations.
- Deep understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and analytics tools such as Looker, using data to drive continuous improvement in operational performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on, results-oriented and growth mindset
- Higher education or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- This role is based in Belgium or Zurich HQ and requires up to 25% travel to oversee operations, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive on-site initiatives.
