We are a company specialized in Integrated NavigationSystems part of a multi-industry leader on high-technology,advanced electronics and defense systems operating through itsfacilities all around the world. We''re looking for a CostingSpecialist to join our company. In this role, you will beresponsible for ensuring the definition and maintenance of thecompetitive Cost/Pricing System for NGI products/services,analyzing and managing the customer''s requests for quotation; incompliance with company rules and objectives, current legislation(national and international), contractual terms and company andgroup policies. The position is located in Pomezia (RM). JobResponsibilities: - Analyzes together with the Proposal Team (IPT)the Customer''s request for quotation (RFQ) and supports the same inthe proposal definition phase, carrying out industrial cost andmargin analysis of the overall offer. - Supports the team in thenegotiation phase with the customer by carrying out simulations andchanges to the cost/price analysis, reprocessing the data in orderto ensure the best definition of the price of the order. -Participates in the drafting/meeting of the RACS/Gate Review withDivision and/or Sector. It takes care of the preparation of theRisk Plan through the calculation of the program cash flow and theprofitability of future contracts and sub-contracts in relation toprices, appropriate protections (coverage/insurance) and paymentterms. - In coordination with the various company functionsinvolved and in line with company models and procedures, it buildsand maintains the cost model of NGI products on the basis of theevolution of the costs of materials and the manufacturing processesof the product, ensuring the best cost/effectiveness ratio byinterfacing with the bodies that directly contribute to thecompany''s costs. - With the Finance and Contracts functions, itdefines and proposes the revision of prices for contracts andsubcontracts subject to this clause, also through a Marketanalysis. It helps to structure and maintain the processes relatedto the generation of offers and the subsequent management oforders. - It analyzes, prepares and coordinates with the support ofFinance, the preparatory work necessary for the negotiation withthe Defense Administration of the company hourly rate in compliancewith the methodology established by SEGREDIFESA. - Provides supportfor Congruity Analyses; Coordinates the pricing meeting at IPT andGeneral Management level, providing support to the subsequentapproval steps (Internal/Division/Sector) - It ensures thatinformation is managed with the correct level of security assigned.Job Requirements: Master''s Degree in Management Engineering,Economics, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines. Postgraduate training or specific certifications (e.g., MBA, CIMA,or specialization courses in financial management and managementcontrol) are a plus. Experience in: Minimum 4 years'' experiencein the same or similar role as management control or pricing inmanufacturing companies, preferably in regulated sectors such asdefense, aerospace or high-tech.
