As the Sales Director , you''ll work closely with the General Manager to oversee all sales activities for our Belgian affiliate. You will focus on understanding our clients'' requirements and translating how our services can provide solutions. You enjoy bringing a personal touch in a diverse market landscape with a large variety of projects and clients. For us, its all about people and relationships.
Qualifications

- Proven track record in a senior commercial role within the Event Industry, with strong technical expertise in lighting, video, and sound.
- Previous experience in leadership and team coaching within a customer-centric environment.
- Enjoy and be proud of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
- Exceptional networking skills with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Outstanding organizational abilities with the capability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Financial acumen and business awareness.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to meet and exceed sales targets while expanding our customer base. Provide guidance and support to the sales team to achieve their objectives.
- Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key accounts based on loyalty and trust.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with other departments to enhance commercial delivery and overall company performance we are one team.
- Articulate our company''s value proposition effectively through tailored presentations and proposals.
- Present quotations to clients, focusing strongly on the scope of the proposal. Ensure clients can compare proposals fairly.
- Foster strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention.
- Offer expert advice on project management and technical matters to clients and internal teams.
- Manage sales team scheduling and assignments, oversee their performance, and ensure targets are met not just financially.
- Represent PRG in key pitches, client meetings, and industry events.
- Identify and capitalize on potential sales opportunities within the industry.
- Handle project changes and customer confirmations in line with our credit control policy.
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to conduct account assessments, negotiate payment terms, and prepare accurate forecasts and financial summaries.
- Stay informed about PRG''s policies, new products, and services, ensuring up-to-date knowledge.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, locally and internationally, as required.
- Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends in the industry.
