Hyatt Regency Rome Central is seeking a skilled ITSupervisor to join our pre-opening team. Conveniently locatedadjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from theColosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newlyrenovated contemporary 5 star hotel offering premium businessservices and one of Italys most dazzling leisure rooftopexperiences. The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food &beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues. Main dutiesand responsibilities: As the IT Supervisor, you will play a crucialrole in ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems within thehotel, supporting both the staff and guests in a fast-paced,exclusive environment. In detail: - Oversee and manage the hotelsIT systems, including servers, networks, telecommunications, andsecurity systems. - Provide technical support and troubleshootingfor hardware and software issues across all departments. - Ensurethe integrity and security of the hotels IT infrastructure,including data backups and network security measures. - Collaboratewith other departments to implement technology solutions thatenhance guest services and operational efficiency. - Maintain andupdate IT documentation, procedures, and policies. - Supervise ITvendors, ensuring quality service and timely delivery of IT-relatedservices. - Manage IT inventory, including hardware, softwarelicenses, and other technology assets. - Deliver support forevents, assisting with technical issues and ensuring all ITrequirements are met. - Lead and train hotel staff on the usage ofIT systems - Monitor system performance, ensuring minimal downtimeand quick resolution of issues. - Stay up-to-date with newtechnologies and recommend improvements to optimize hoteloperations. Skills and requirements: - Bachelors degree ininformation technology, Computer Science, or a related field. -Proven experience in IT roles, preferably in the hospitalityindustry. - Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS,POS), networking, and telecommunication systems. - Experience withsecurity protocols, firewalls, and data protection measures. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work underpressure in a fast-paced environment. - Strong leadership and teammanagement skills. - Proficiency in both hardware and softwaretroubleshooting. - Fluent in English; knowledge of other languagesis a plus.
