The ideal candidate will possess expertise in global supply chain management and excel in leading change, fostering innovation, and achieving tangible results.MUST HAVE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCEKey Responsibilities:Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:Define and implement strategies to optimize global supply chain operations.Develop long-term strategic plans aligned with the company''s vision.Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization and market penetration, leveraging expertise in emerging markets and industry trends.Organizational Development:Establish organizational structures and processes to support strategic initiatives.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.Empower team members to maximize their potential and drive performance excellence.Transformation Management:Lead large-scale supply chain transformations, including turnarounds, restructures, and scale-ups.Drive operational excellence through resource allocation and project management.Oversee M&A activities related to supply chain operations, ensuring strategic alignment.Leadership and Team Engagement:Inspire and motivate the team to embrace change and achieve goals.Champion a shared vision for supply chain optimization.Lead by example with integrity, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.Business Development:Identify new opportunities and strategic partnerships to drive growth.Leverage expertise in food/agri and energy industries to capitalize on market trends.Drive innovation and technology adoption within the supply chain.MUST HAVE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCEQualifications:Bachelor''s/Master''s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering, 10+ preferred.Expertise in global supply chain and change management initiatives.Proficiency in technology, especially in food and agricultural tech.Extensive experience managing supply chains in Europe, particularly in Italy, the Netherlands, South Africa, and India.Familiarity with supply chain dynamics in other regions, especially Africa (e.g., Kenya), is a plus.Ability to craft and deliver high-quality cost-benefit analyses.Availability for up to 40 days with optional travel.Knowledge of inverter or solar technologies to address load shedding issues.Home office setup.Additional InformationThis position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team and embark on an exciting journey of innovation and excellence in global supply chain management.If you are driven and passionate about optimizing supply chain operations globally, we want to hear from you!
