Exploring the role

The Senior Partner - Travel Sales will be a dynamic salesperson who drives data and metric based decisions while pushing both speed and volume. The role is focused on business development efforts to maximize revenue potential of RateGains portfolio of SAAS based products. The role also demands generation and development of new business opportunities and delivering an integrated approach to business development framework.

How Your Day Will Look Like/Job Responsibility

Execute (not just design) the go-to-market plan: Prioritize target accounts, run outreach campaigns, and maintain a healthy pipeline aligned to RateGains solutions and European travel-company priorities. Own the sales cycle from lead origination to contract signature, including discovery, product demos, commercial negotiation and hand-off to Customer Success. Quarterback internal resources (Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing) to craft proposals that solve client problems and accelerate time-to-value. Forecast accurately in Salesforce: weekly updates, monthly commitments, and accountability for meeting and exceeding quarterly ARR targets. Stay sharp on the competitive landscape and translate RateGains differentiators into clear business outcomes that resonate with travel-company executives. Collect market feedback and flag emerging needs to Product Management and Leadership to inform roadmap and packaging decisions.

Education & Work Experience

5-7 years in B2B SaaS or travel-technology sales (distribution, pricing intelligence, or MarTech) selling to European travel companies). Graduation / post-graduation in related fields with excellent communication skills.

Knowledge

Deep understanding of hotel/travel distribution APIs, rate-shopping tools, and digital marketing funnels, with the ability to engage credibly with commercial and product stakeholders. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding 100% of annual sales quota for at least two consecutive years. Skilled in drafting and negotiating MSAs, order forms, and pricing models, in collaboration with legal and procurement teams. Strong capability to diagnose client challenges, align solutions to business needs, and build stakeholder consensus. Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional major European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese) is strongly preferred.

Skills

High proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM tools), Excel/Sheets, and virtual demo platforms. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is a plus. Previous experience with leading OTAs, bedbanks, metasearch platforms, or TMCs. Well-connected within the European travel-tech ecosystem with a strong professional network. Working knowledge of revenue management and business intelligence (BI) concepts in the hospitality industry.
