We provide bespoke foam fire protection solutions for clients worldwide, from aircraft hangars to oil platforms, adapting to specific requirements and timelines with our global support network.Our engineering skills are often utilized on demand, aiming to develop and produce fire protection solutions tailored to client specifications. Driven by growth, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist for our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV).The role involves checking open purchase orders in SAP daily, monitoring supplier delivery performance, and coordinating shipments and procurement activities.Main responsibilities:Organize transportation for materials ready for collection from suppliers.Manage courier operations, organizing transport to and from suppliers.Coordinate transportation of customer orders, ensuring compliance with schedules.Prepare shipments for external processing via SAP Subcontracting Cockpit, collaborating with warehouse staff for timely pick-up and shipping, and preparing transport documents.Create P.O.s in SAP for consumables and support urgent orders.Support all purchasing department activities as a backup.Maintain master data in SAP for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.Manage procurement and operational relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Assist warehouse staff in planning and organizing shipments.Analyze courier performance and costs.Qualifications and experience:At least 3 years of experience in logistics management within structured production companies.Proficient with SAP (S4/Hana), especially MM module; knowledge of PP module is a plus.Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.).Experience with warehouse operations and internal logistics in a production environment.Knowledge of stock management procedures in SAP, including MRP and Kanban.Experience with inventory and cycle counts in SAP.Intermediate proficiency in Italian and English.Personal characteristics:Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and result-oriented.Hands-on approach with a strong sense of commitment and urgency.Well-organized, capable of prioritizing tasks.Analytical with a fact-based approach.Effective communicator and adaptable to all organizational levels.Process-oriented, eager to challenge the status quo and pursue continuous improvement.Job Conditions:Occasional travel within Europe and the Middle East.Contract under C.C.N.L.
