Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Managing Director who will play a pivotal role in setting the companys strategic direction and spearheading its growth. The Managing Director will oversee all aspects of the business, including business development, operations, and financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-impact strategies to secure a competitive edge in the business banking and M&A market.
- Oversee the companys daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all business units.
- Lead the execution of critical projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and partners.
- Evaluate market trends and business opportunities, identifying potential avenues for expansion.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team to excel in their respective roles.
- Drive the organizational corporate culture in alignment with its core values and mission.
Requirements:
- Masters degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience in business banking and mergers and acquisitions.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior management role.
- Exceptional ability in developing and executing business strategies.
- Strong financial understanding and experience in fiscal management.
- Highly skilled in negotiation and relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Language Requirements:
- Proficient in both German and English. French is a plus.
Bonus Points:
- Existing network within the business banking or M&A sectors.
- Track record of successfully scaling a similar business.
- LBa license or former fiduciary expertise.
Compensation:
- Performance-based contract leading to equity options.
