Introduction to the department
The Projects Material Department at our head office in Brussels is responsible for ordering and tracking deliveries of all materials required to develop the network of pipelines, installations, compressor stations and underground storage facilities.
Job purpose
You will be in charge of monitoring the supply chain during the production of materials. You will analyse traceability documents, inspection reports and production schedules to ensure that materials are delivered on time for Fluxys Belgium. You will be the contact person during production for domestic and international suppliers, colleagues within the Group and authorised inspection agencies, including after production in the event of non-conformities.
Your responsibilities
- You will be responsible for regularly and proactively tracking orders of technical equipment, as well as their delivery and proper reception
- You will draft correspondence for suppliers (compliance with technical inspections, etc.)
- You will track orders in Microsoft Access and create reports/statistics in Excel
- You will index, digitise and archive technical files
- You will prepare internal documents and modifications in the database and create reports
- You will prepare supplier qualification documents
About you
- You have an A2 diploma
- No experience is necessary, provided you can demonstrate solid dedication and motivation
- You are interested in a job in a technical environment
- You are a team player and can take initiative
- You are easy to get along with and have good communication skills
- You are very organised and work in an orderly manner and pay attention to detail
- You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French and Dutch
- You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of SAP would be a plus
