Kronos Group is looking for a Junior Buyer to join a dynamic procurement team on a 3-month assignment for one of our clients, a leading international banking institution. This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in operational procurement within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the purchasing team in the execution of day-to-day procurement activities , including purchase order creation, follow-up, and validation.
- Handle supplier communication to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Assist in the coordination of deliveries and logistics follow-up , including internal tracking and documentation.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of procurement records in relevant tools and systems.
- Monitor and report on order statuses, delivery timelines, and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement operations with project timelines and requirements .
Skills Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration , or a related field.
- Good command of Excel (basic to intermediate level).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail .
- Ability to manage routine tasks efficiently and work in a structured, process-driven environment .
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Prior internship or short-term experience in procurement is a plus.
