Our diversity of skills, talents, and cultures enables us to serve customers such as governments, space agencies, and telecommunications operators, providing Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.Position Summary Key responsibilities and principal tasksEnsure that all services and products delivered to customers meet requirements, space standards, applicable rules, and internal Quality requirements for both Software and Hardware projects, including documentation, and act as a point of contact for quality authority where necessary.Analyze customer Quality requirements, define and establish Quality plans during project phases, ensuring all necessary measures are included to meet standards and reference systems.Follow TAS Quality Management System (QMS) rules Chorus 2 and adhere to processes, tools, and methodologies within TAS Italy.Comply with Quality Plan, schedule, budgets, and specifications for all assigned projects and tasks.Manage and contribute to project reviews (KO, EQSR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, TRB, DRB), ensuring coherent and consistent documentation.Support technical departments during Software or Hardware design reviews through Validation Plans, DDQS activities, checklists, or BDREX inputs.Coordinate and oversee all product quality activities within projects (RAMS, M&P, EEE Parts, Reliability, FMECA, etc.).Document and manage Changes and Deviations (RFDs, NCRs, RFWs).Coordinate and supervise Non Conformance Review Boards (NRB) activities in cases of deviations or non-compliance with specifications.Identify and propose mitigation actions for critical project points; support product inspection activities (MIPs).Prepare Certificates of Conformance (COC) and review EIDP documentation to certify product quality aligns with standards.Ensure subcontractor quality requirements meet project standards.Use audit data, customer feedback, and complaints to monitor and report risks.Act as an alert and veto point within the team and management.Candidate Specification: Key Selection CriteriaEducation & QualificationsEngineering degree or equivalent.Degree in Physical Sciences, Electronics, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering.Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of professional experience.Engineering or equivalent degree.Fluent in Italian; English required for customer interface; French is a plus.Knowledge of hardware inspection and TAS Computing and Data Handling Products is advantageous.Knowledge of Quality standards for Software and Hardware projects, and QMS documentation for PA/QA activities, is beneficial.Behavior and PersonalityStrong communication skills, both external and internal.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Methodologically minded.Decision-oriented with strong argumentation skills.At Thales Alenia Space, we offer careers, not just jobs.
