Technical Officer Contracting & SupplyingFunctieomschrijving To strengthen our Supply Chain Team we arelooking for a Configuration & Logistics Officer who ensuresthat for a given engine, the pieces are made available for assemblywithin the configuration and timeframe agreed with the customer.Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of SafranAircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem, Belgium),specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of theadvanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of theAirbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. Your role: - Youwill analyse and provide the logistical needs to complete theengine. - You read and understand the logistical aspects of theBill of Work for the engine. - You detect critical points in thecompletion process and look for an appropriate solution to achievethe objectives (e.g. Standard Exchanges, switches between differentengines). - You direct your internal suppliers (warehouse,backshop, subcontracting, purchasing). - You complete the modulesand ensure that they are prepared according to the predeterminedproduction planning. - You support the assembly line with missingand/or defective parts. - You analyse the interchangeability(technical and qualitative) of pieces, in accordance with theestablished configuration. Profiel Your profile: - You have aBachelor''s degree in Logistics, Transport or a technical direction,or equivalent through experience. - You have an interest inaircraft engines and want to learn more about them. - You arecommunicative and dare to ask questions. - You work in astructured, accurate and proactive way. - You work analytically andcome up with practical solutions. - You organize, divide andcontrol your work independently. - You speak French or Dutch, youalso have a good knowledge of technical English. - Experience withSAP is a plus. - You work in shifts, from Monday to Friday (6 am -2 pm, 2 pm - 10 pm). Candidates must be legally authorized to workin Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work &residence permit.
