Job Description

As a domain consultant for network security transformation, you will provide technical expertise and guidance in customers'' network security and zero trust journey. You will be key in defining technical solutions that secure a customers key business imperatives. You will evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a trusted cybersecurity partner.

Your Impact

1. Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization.
2. Present to customers as our expert at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.
3. Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our unique value proposition.
4. Manage prospective customers'' and partners'' Technical Validation projects to ensure technical wins.
5. Architect solutions to help customers strengthen and simplify their security posture.
6. Document high-level designs and key use cases for proper implementation and value realization.
7. Lead discussions on industry trends and emerging security landscape changes.
8. Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
9. Serve as the main technical contact for Network Security, assisting with RFIs/RFPs.
10. Position Palo Alto Networks or Partner-delivered services appropriately for implementation and value realization.
11. Discuss and compare marketplace offerings, positioning ours as the best alternative.

Qualifications

Your Experience

1. Experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE.
2. Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience working with customers, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
4. Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.
5. Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
6. Proficiency in German and English.
