For one of our clients, a private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a:
MIDDLE OFFICER
You will be entitled to the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all issues in the Shared Mailbox and all transaction processing in the Avaloq system are taken care of timely and accurately.
- Collateral management, cash reconciliation, payment validation and investigation, processing and/or booking of transactions on complex products (crypto-currency, private equity, internal funds, and real estate funds), specific asset price update management, trailer fee and retrocession management, operational controls of the outsourced operations, and monitoring the requests for development and enhancement of the core banking system.
- Management of update/release process in terms of testing of new functionalities and corrections of incidents.
Required skills
- Min. 5 years experience in a similar position.
- University skills or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of banking operations in general.
- Knowledge of exotic/derivatives products (Hedge Funds, Private Equity & Real-Estate Funds, FX, Options, digital assets, and crypto currencies).
- Good knowledge of Avaloq is a plus.
- Good skills in communication, negotiation, and dialogue.
- Able to manage the pressure of business deadlines and set priorities.
- Ability to work in a small team in an autonomous way.
- Quality-oriented, efficient, and reliable way of working.
- Service-oriented.
