WHAT YOULL DO
We are seeking a business origination analyst responsible for interpretating data on marketplace trends, maritime stakeholders, and changes in the marine fuel markets.
This will be done by identifying, acquiring, and analysing intelligence sources to provide range of reports to serve the business by being step ahead from all the other competitors.
The role would suit with someone with a strong analytical thinking and an understanding of shipping bunkering with focus on geospatial, open-sources, and human derived intelligence.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, analyse, and evaluate information from various sources to provide quality reports on market intelligence to inform the supply and sales teams.
- Liaise and collaborate with other teams (such as supply, credit, and sales) to contrast and gather further information, which may help to piece together the holistic picture.
- Develop and maintain a detailed view of market size and potential business for the targeted areas.
- Support commercial teams with Market Intelligence tasks of Suppliers Setup, Trading Patterns, Sourcing intelligence.
- Provide analytical support for new supply ports and reselling market development.
- Originate business by searching new prospects or flagging dormant accounts to optimise our credit lines.
- Assist commercial teams on the search of new customers by utilising market intelligence tools and reports.
- Producing reports and have discussions on the back of these with supply teams for activating demand.
- Action on data integrity matters.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Knowledge of main stakeholders in the bunkering market and ship operators
- Knowledge of bunkering ports worldwide, buyers vision and choices to determine next possible ports and motivations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly strong knowledge, and experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organised, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Motivated by operational processes and innovation.
- Strong desire to develop and accept responsibility and a personality taking pleasure from the challenge of achieving seemingly impossible tasks on daily basis is hugely sought after.

- Previous experience in a Marine fuel supply/bunkering delivery environment
