Your next challenge: The person will support the Tax Services Team in its yearly exercise of QI Tax monitoring and reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing US tax compliance for our clients, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, including the requirements of the Qualified Intermediary program. US documentation: management of documents related to tax status of our customers (W8, self-certification) and yearly renewal exercise Withholding of US source tax Deposit of tax withheld to the IRS Reconciliation with upstream depositories Perform daily and monthly controls based on QI monitoring plan to comply with QI sub-certification requirements Store evidence of controls performed Reclassification of US dividends on REITS Preparation of the yearly QI reporting to the IRS Report / analyze / share in meetings all kinds of inconsistencies with key stakeholders Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality client service. The candidate will also support the team in other daily activities (answer internal email requests related to US tax etc).
