We''re looking for a procurement Officer for one of our clients :
The Procurement team in Belgium is looking for an experienced procurement officer to support the Facilities department. Ideally, you have proven experience in negotiating diverse contracts with contractorssuch as those related to rooftop constructions, the purchase of electric vehicle charging stations, interior redesigns of office spaces, installation and maintenance of alarm systems, energy contracts, and more.
Most of the contracts will be negotiated in Dutch. The preferred workplace is Mechelen or Leuven, with the possibility of working from home up to 50% after a few weeks of onboarding (mainly based in Mechelen).
Youll join a team of about five colleagues, including one category manager. Your core responsibility will be managing procurement files of this nature. Experience as a category manager or CPO is not required.
As a senior Procurement Officer, you have over 5 years of experience in organizing the entire procurement process from requirements to delivery :
- You research the market trends, question various suppliers and onboard them when relevant;
- You evaluate business requirements on accurracy, transparency and completeness;
- You evaluate and negotiate supplier offers to achieve better conditions, in line with the applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines;
- You facilitate the contracting process in close alignment with all the stakeholders (client, legal, risk, ...);
- You perform all those tasks within a standardized process and required tooling.
