Context

As part of its international growth, the Kardham Group is looking for a Head of Brussels office - Real estate to develop and structure its activities in Belgium and the wider Benelux region.

On the strength of several successful experiences in Belgium, the group is currently consolidating its local team to meet the growing demands of its customers. Kardham''s ambition is to strengthen its footprint in the country by continuing with current projects and actively developing its business lines.

Position and mission

As Head of Brussels office, you will be at the centre of our growth dynamic. Your mission will be to drive Kardham''s ambitions in the Belgian and Benelux markets by embodying our values of innovation, creativity, and performance. As such, your main responsibilities will be:

• Proximity management : ensure the office runs smoothly and coordinate the teams.
• Business development : identifying and prospecting new opportunities, raising the Group''s profile in the market, and expanding Kardham customers portfolio, with a focus on the fit-out and Design & Build businesses.
• Projects monitoring : guaranteeing quality, meeting deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
• Projects management : if necessary, taking an active part in the various phases of projects.
• Leadership : supporting employees in their development and strengthening the corporate culture.
• Contributing to the Group''s ambitions : helping to roll out innovative initiatives and co-operate with other Group offices in other countries.

The ideal profile

• Higher education : 5 years'' higher education (architecture or engineering school) or university equivalent.
• Significant experience : minimum 10 years'' experience, with proven experience in team management and business development. Experience in design & build and/or build (general contractor) projects in the offices and/or retail sectors is required.
• Market knowledge : knowledge of the Belgian market and its players (French-speaking and Flemish-speaking areas) and the Brussels market.
• Language skills : Bilingual in French and English, Dutch greatly appreciated.
• Excellent leadership skills : ability to motivate and unite a team around ambitious objectives.
• Entrepreneurial spirit : solutions-oriented, autonomous, and able to put forward proposals to create a positive dynamic.
• Excellent interpersonal and business development skills : you know how to build and maintain a solid network of partners and customers.
