IWPB Technology Portfolio Office is a world-class Centre of Excellence that drives oversight and reporting of change delivery across an $800m global portfolio. Our ethos is to simplify, streamline and automate processes to ensure consistent reporting, governance and control of delivery health, cost and capacity.
Working with delivery teams located across the globe means we have large variations in our ways of working, processes and tooling. The IWPB Technology Portfolio Office also acts as a central function delivering organisational change and transformation aligned with the group wide initiative of building a more simple and agile organisation.
What youll do
- Manage the tooling onboarding process for Jira users in the SVS delivery teams.
- Produce and interpret gap analysis of Jira project configurations and making appropriate design decisions aligned to IWPB tooling principles and ways of operating.
- Oversee and approve Jira new project and configuration requests to ensure they are aligned to IWPB ways of working and configuration design principles.
- Support Jira users with queries and guidance on adherence to the IWPB ways of operating at the team level.
- Support users with navigating through core Jira functionality including board configuration, building reports and dashboards, managing Jira Plans, user access management etc. as well as support IWPB Technology Portfolio level reporting through Jira data provision and analysis
- Support in tooling and ways of working change requests and appropriate representation at the tooling design authority.
- Support Jira users within IWPB with articulating change requests and provide appropriate design advice where needed.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Strong experience in working with Jira, Confluence as well as experience in performing project administrator activities in Jira, in building reports and dashboards in Jira.
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile framework and principles and how they apply to development teams
- Strong autonomy and analytic skills to bring added value on MI production and enable decision making for the key stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills to make design decisions that incorporate requirements from multiple sources and stakeholder groups
- Ability to liaise with large numbers of stakeholders from local, regional and global teams and drive the right behaviour and frame questions in the write way to find the information requested or follow-up multiple queries that can last over time
- Good written communication skills to manage tooling related updates that need to be shared with wider stakeholder groups
- Experience in using EasyBI, Zephyr and any other related Jira add-ons or products; experience in Agile coaching; experience in working as a scrum master.
- Knowledge of SAFe framework or Lean Portfolio Management.
