We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Engineer / Energy Coordinator to oversee energy data management, reporting, and project tracking for our industrial operations. This hands-on role combines administrative precision, analytical skills, and energy project coordination to ensure efficient energy use and compliance. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in energy management systems, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze daily/monthly energy consumption data (electricity, gas, steam).
- Prepare monthly and annual energy reports for internal and regulatory compliance.
- Provide hands on operational improvements
- Prepare and have discussions with project leads
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 50001).
- Track progress of energy-saving initiatives and smaller projects.
- Liaise with engineering, maintenance, and sustainability teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Update dashboards/KPIs to monitor energy performance.
- Monitor real-time energy readings and flag anomalies.
- Support the implementation of energy efficiency measures.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks like utility bill validation or carbon footprint calculations.
Must-Have:
- 2+ years of hands-on energy management experience (industrial, manufacturing, or chemical sectors preferred).
- Strong analytical and Excel skills (pivot tables, data visualization).
- Experience with energy monitoring systems (e.g., SCADA, EMS, metering software).
- Fluent in Dutch (written/spoken); professional English.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable with routine administrative tasks.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of energy regulations (EU/regional).
- Exposure to sustainability reporting (GHG protocols, SEC).
- Basic understanding of industrial utilities (boilers, compressors, HVAC).
