EMEA Recruitment is delighted to be working with a global technology business to recruit a seasoned senior finance leader to step into the role of Regional Finance Director, based in their Paris office.
In this key position, you will play a strategic role in shaping regional financial performance, leveraging your expertise in fast-paced environments to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and lead a high-performing finance team through coaching and mentorship.
Responsibilities of the Regional Finance Director include:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with regional business goals, while advising senior leadership on key financial decisions
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with international accounting standards and local regulations, including ownership of audits and statutory filings
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes across the region, ensuring alignment with global targets
- Oversee cash flow planning, optimize working capital, and implement cost control initiatives to improve financial efficiency
- Manage, mentor, and grow a regional finance team, promoting continuous development, collaboration, and performance excellence
- Act as business partner to provide financial insights, assess risks and opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making
Candidate Profile:
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; professional certification such as CA, CPA or equivalent is advantageous
- 15+ years of experience in senior finance roles, with a focus on strategic leadership and financial oversight
- Demonstrated success in managing finance teams in global or multi-entity structures
- Adept at working in fast-paced, evolving environments, with a track record of enhancing operational efficiency
- Combines strong analytical capabilities with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset when addressing complex financial matters
