We are seeking a seasoned EAA Compliance Expert / BA to lead the assessment and enhancement of digital investment product flows within the retail banking industry. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring digital investment platforms align with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and meet EU compliance standards. The job requires full autonomy and can be worked 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Accessibility Assessment: Independently analyze current digital investment flows to identify gaps and inconsistencies in accessibility compliance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Log all bugs, incoherences, and areas requiring improvement. Prepare detailed documentation outlining steps needed to achieve EAA compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the resolution of identified issues and propose solutions that align with EAA standards.
- Compliance Expertise: Provide guidance on accessibility requirements, ensuring that updated flows meet regulatory standards and customer needs.
- Testing and Validation: Support IT teams with testing and validation of fixes as an added advantage.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring smooth execution of compliance improvements.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in the European Accessibility Act (EAA), particularly in the context of digital platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience assessing and mapping business processes for accessibility compliance.
- Senior-level experience to operate autonomously and independently drive project execution.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with banking and digital investment products is highly desirable.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (business and IT) to deliver solutions.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and frameworks such as EN 301 549 is a plus.
