Main Responsibilities: - Activelyparticipate in the Transformation, Make or Buy, SupplierExcellence, and Risk Management fronts. - Develop projects for newand/or current suppliers (prioritization) and manage commercialrelationships with the supplier by formalizing commercialagreements in order to maintain the relationships or create newones. - Manage direct material cost management, leadingnegotiations at the local level. Also negotiate prices and monitorKPIs that impact supplier prices to ensure competitiveness of thevalues negotiated between Nidec and suppliers. - Align withLogistics on supplier supply and service to production planning. Incase of divergent invoices from suppliers, analyze the situationsfor release and/or unblocking. - Align with Quality on quality KPIsof items supplied to the Plant. - Prospect, develop and certifylocal and international suppliers of Raw Materials, AuxiliaryProduction Materials and services, following the procedures andassessments required to meet Cost, quality, logistics, legal andsustainability requirements. - Prospect, develop and certify RawMaterials, Auxiliary Production Materials and services within thedeadline agreed upon in the Certification planning, following theprocedures and assessments required to meet Cost, quality,logistics, legal and sustainability requirements.
