POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for providing support to the entire IT group, as well as business partners and EHS customers as it relates to the ongoing phone assistance, service requests, projects and operations. Responsibilities will be performed under the guiding principles of the Information Technology and Systems Group, supporting the business requirements of the organization and adhering to the established standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssists in day to day operation of the Customer Service Center.- Provides flexible coverage for various areas including the customer service center, data center operations, desktop support, and projects.- Assists all members of the Information and Technology Systems Group in meeting the business needs of the designated departments.- Provides timely and effective service oriented customer phone support.- Monitors and controls central computers within the datacenters.- Provides remote and on location desktop support when necessary.- Repair and replace equipment as required and necessary.- Network Account Administration functions.- Works in conjunction with the ITSG team members to assist with the assessment of needs and implementations for technical solutions.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSWorking knowledge of Customer Service procedures.- Extensive knowledge of Personal Computer Hardware, its functionality and diagnostics.- Extremely flexible person who can multi-task without difficulty.- Knowledge of Software configuration and standards with the ability to configure and follow written instruction related to setup and operation of desktop devices.- Ability to follow written instructions related to setup and operation.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSUREEducation: Associates Degree in MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent experience and education.- Experience: Experience in Healthcare and Information Technology Industry preferred. Must have demonstrated track record of successful interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work independently. Knowledge of Software configuration and standards with the ability to configure and follow written instruction related to setup and operation of desktop devices a plus.
