Very simply, Stewardship is a filter for ouractions and decision-making, as we strive to leave things in bettercondition than when we found them.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Global ProductManager, Tools will support sales growth through marketing efforts,managing current solutions & developing new solutions,implementing pricing strategies, portfolio lifecycle management,and sales support. This role will be responsible for creating theTools product strategy and multigenerational product plan. TheGlobal Product Manager will develop a deep understanding of themarket including applications, competitors, and customer needs.He/she will utilize that market knowledge to plot a strategy,identify growth opportunities, and become the champion for theirproduct lines. The Global Product Manager will be accountable forachieving annual revenue, growth, and profit targets.Keyresponsibilities & elements of the role include:Deepunderstanding of market dynamics including competition, trends, newtechnologies & pricing to inform appropriate decision makingfor the product line.Ability to analyze large sets of data andinterpret into actionable information that will guide portfoliomanagement of current solutions as well as development of newofferings.Work closely with customers and sales leaders to developand articulate Tools product line value propositions.Partner withsales & service leadership, sales, field admin, engineering,and finance in the new product development processDevelop andimplement growth strategies based on market needs to increasemarket share & profitability of the product line.Driveportfolio lifecycle management with a strong emphasis on productline simplification.Collaborate with marketing operations to updateand develop new collateral & tools linked product launchesand/or updates.Assist in product training materials and deliveryleveraging the product, sales, and communication teams.Understandcompetitive pricing & programs as well as those within adjacentindustries.Develop a pricing strategy on new solutions as well asmanage annual price adjustments to grow portfolio revenue.Supportsupply chain, sourcing and operations manage and improve productquality.Required SkillsSelf-starter, comfortable dealing withabstract or ambiguous problems independentlyStrong communicationskills- Ability to simplify complex topics and communicateeffectively with a wide array of functions.Able to develop andcommunicate strategy and a vision in a compelling manner~influencing without direct authority.Experience managingchange.High level of business acumen and ability to spot market andbusiness trends, pattern recognition, demonstrated history ofdelivering P&L results.Cross-functional leadership ability tolead complex projects involving global stakeholders across multiplefunctions and regions.Team player with excellent interpersonalskillsData analysis ability to analyze data and recommend actionbased on the information.Good mechanical aptitudes to communicatewith operations and engineering.Proficient in Microsoft Excel &PowerPoint, experience working in SAP desired.RequiredExperienceFluent in English, any additional language is aplus.Bachelor''s degree in business/marketing is desired,Marketing/Business/MBA is preferred.3 - 5 years of professionalwork experience, preferably with an emphasis in productmanagementExperience working with the cleaning industry.Globalbusiness experience collaborating with internationalteams.Willingness to travel domestically & internationally upto 20% of the time.Successful track record for problem solving,idea generation and program execution
