We seek a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the network powering the worlds largest online services.The CO+I Commissioning team manages the end-to-end delivery of new data center capacity, developing program management and construction processes to successfully deliver multi-million-dollar, multi-year data center projects.Role OverviewAs a Commissioning Manager, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, construction managers, network engineers, operations, and finance teams to improve data center capacity delivery. You will ensure projects are commissioned according to Microsoft''s standards, managing processes for projects regionally and supporting others elsewhere.QualificationsMinimum Skills & Qualifications:Relevant technical engineering experience or a Bachelor''s/Master''s in Mechanical, Materials, Reliability, Electrical Engineering, or related field with some experienceConstruction QA/QCProject ManagementData Center Operations and MaintenanceUnderstanding of UPS, switchgear, generators, and critical mechanical systemsAbility to develop detailed Commissioning ScriptsIssue resolution skillsProficiency with MS Office, Visio, Project, TeamsSecurity screening requirements apply, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.Additional Qualifications:NFPA-70EPMP certificationResponsibilitiesBusiness Processes:Report to the CO+I Sub-Region Commissioning LeadManage assigned metro commissioning projects and support othersDevelop and maintain best practices for quality and cost-effectivenessManage contracted Commissioning AgentsDevelop procedures and standards, conduct site inspections, and drive commissioning processesCommunications:Review progress, issues, and KPIs, report to managementCoordinate meetings with vendors, manage client relationships, and report project statusAccountability:Develop and report on scope and schedule of commissioning processesManage commissioning for assigned projects and support the program independentlyStrategy and Development:Align project delivery with CO+I strategyRefine practices, develop methods, and prepare documentationManage vendor relationships and complianceTravel to project locations may be required.Benefits vary by location and employment terms, including healthcare, educational resources, discounts, savings, leave, and networking opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
