Our client, a rapidly expanding FinTech player in the crypto space based in Luxembourg, is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer ready to help shape the regulatory framework of tomorrow''s finance.
Your Role - Become a Strategic Voice in Crypto Regulation
- Work hand-in-hand with the EU Head of Compliance to adapt and implement policies aligned with European regulations (MiFID II, MiCA/R, DORA, AML/CFT).
- Serve as a key second line of defense: build, challenge, and strengthen compliance frameworks.
- Act as the go-to advisor for internal teams, translating regulatory complexity into actionable guidance.
- Lead compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and testing activities with a hands-on approach.
- Be a credible and proactive contact for regulators (CSSF and others).
- Drive regulatory watch initiatives and ensure readiness for upcoming changes.
- Build internal awareness through impactful training sessions and updates.
- Play a key role in financial crime compliance, collaborating with Customer Ops and global teams.
Your Profile - Ambitious, Driven, and Crypto-Savvy
- 5-7 years of experience in a compliance role in a regulated environment (FinTech, crypto, or payments a strong plus).
- Strong knowledge of MiFID II, MiCA/R, DORA, AML/CFT.
- Track record in policy development, regulatory reporting, and risk-based approaches.
- Thrive under pressure, embrace responsibility, and have the stamina to go the extra mile.
- Highly analytical with strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English; French or another European language is a plus.
- Experienced in working with the CSSF or similar authorities.
