We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an Application Engineer. The role is a permanent position based in St. Gallen.Your Role: Act as an important interface between key external & internal contacts, including technical experts, sales & purchasing teams, product management & development teams. Lead customer-specific development projects. Provide technical support (3rd level) & training for radio-frequency & microwave products. Commercially support the global sales organization for customer-specific solutions. Provide feedback for R&D & product management & support the definition of future product developments.Your Skills & Profile: Several years of professional experience in a technical environment, ideally including in Hardware Development or Product Management. Ideally experienced as an Application Engineer. Any knowledge of High-Frequency technology is advantageous. Preferably experience in a customer facing roles.Your Profile: Competed University Degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering (or similar). Strong communication skills & a team-player. Flexible to travel globally (20-30%). Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a very good command of German (to at least B2 level) are mandatory requirements.
